Can I buy property there?

We gladly support settlement projects because we are part of one ourselves. There are many free plots, land, olive groves, and abandoned villages where houses can be purchased.

We welcome people who, like us, want to give back to nature and the land; people who wish to live in a solidarity-based self-sufficient community, connected to nature and managing according to permaculture principles.

The plots or leased areas where, for example, you could set up your yurt are not far apart, making close networking possible.

Are there travel or visit reports?
A visitor report on “Greecefull-Peace” (translated from German):
In mid-September, we visited Kampus Velika. The project had already been well described in the flyer.
Our first and lasting impression was shaped by the warmth of Gaio and the people on site.
We also noticed that the place primarily attracts awakened and consciously living people, especially musicians. We did not encounter motorhomes with satellite dishes.
Kostas’ words still echo in my ears: “Everything must happen on a voluntary basis. As soon as there is coercion (e.g., for community work), the joyful togetherness no longer works.”
What impressed me most was that we could have stayed immediately, even though the project is still in its very early stages.
No knowledge of Greek is required for this place. Nor do you need prior experience in agricultural self-sufficiency. Thanks to the excellent networking of the project initiators with local farmers, greenhouse operations, and people practicing animal-friendly husbandry, I felt a highly human and joyful cooperation among all involved.
You cannot live entirely without money here, but it really doesn’t take much to live in Velika.
